In a recent incident occurring on the Kreisstraße 9, a multi-vehicle accident involving four cars took place just before the entrance to Heide-Park. The accident, which happened on Thursday afternoon, was triggered when a 50-year-old driver from Müden failed to yield to a right-of-way vehicle, leading to a collision that caused significant damage.

The 51-year-old female driver of the impacted vehicle was unable to avoid the collision, resulting in her car leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree. A driving school vehicle nearby had to perform an emergency stop, which subsequently led to a rear-end collision with a following car. Fortunately, initial reports indicate that there were no injuries resulting from the incident.

The total estimated damage from the accident has been assessed at over 20,000 euros.

In a separate event earlier that day, law enforcement officials in Walsrode conducted a traffic stop on a 49-year-old driver at a commuter parking area near the Westenholz exit. During the stop, it was revealed that the driver was operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license. A subsequent drug test returned a positive result for opiates, resulting in the driver being administered a blood test and prohibited from continuing their journey. The individual is now facing two separate legal proceedings as a consequence.

Additionally, during the night from Thursday to Friday, police observed a fully occupied vehicle at the Schwarmstedt service station. The four occupants of this vehicle were already known to the authorities. A drug test performed on the 22-year-old driver revealed a positive result for THC, leading to a blood sample being taken for further analysis.
