Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Russian Black Sea Port of Novorossiysk

The Sheksaris terminal, given its strategic value for Russia's energy exports, has previously been targeted. In November 2025, Ukrainian drone attacks reportedly damaged parts of the facility during a strike on a nearby military installation.

The Russian Ministry of Defense provided additional details on the scale of the overnight operation, asserting that a total of 172 drones were intercepted and destroyed. Of these, 67 were downed over the Black Sea and 66 in the Krasnodar region. The Ministry did not specify the number of drones that may have reached their intended targets or the extent of overall damage inflicted.
