Duisburg's Unique Voter Incentive: Free Beer and Sausages at Polls

In a novel initiative aimed at boosting voter turnout, the city of Duisburg is offering free beer and sausages to citizens casting their votes ahead of the upcoming federal election. Starting early on Saturday, voters lined up at the Duisburg-Mitte district office, where they could cast their ballots a week before the official election day.
