Munich. A TV screen as big as a football goal: Siemens will display all World Cup games on a 37 square metre LED High Quality screen at the Wittelsbacherplatz.

"Siemens Soccer City" is the name for the football mile infront of the Siemens centre at the Wittelsbacherplatz.

Spacious enough for 2200 fans, 600 of which will be seated places. According to Siemens, disabled people will have their own area with a good view of the screen. Food and drinks will be sold at booths. Admission will be free and all of the World Cup games will be shown.

The company feels closely bonded with Munich, South Africa and sports, says Peter Löscher, director of Siemens. In all ten World Cup stadiums in South Africa a piece of Siemens technology is in use.
