Munich. A 66 year old woman drove her car straight into the back of a lorry. Despite her car being completely deformed the women only suffered minor injuries.
According to the fire brigade, the woman was driving on Agnes-Bernauer-Straße when she hit the rear of a stationary lorry. The cause of the accident remains undetermined. The passengers side of the Mitsubishi was flattened from the roof to the bonnet. Luckily the driver's side was only slighty damaged and the woman was able to leave her car safely before the firemen arrived.
After initial medical treatment the woman, who only suffered a few bruises and grazes, was brought to hospital as a precaution. To release the vehicle under the lorry, the fire brigade had to lift up the lorry using a hyraulic jack.
The woman sustained light injuries from the accident. Total damaged caused is estimated to be 20,000 Euro.
