Ukrainian President Zelenskyy Discloses Family Income of EUR335,000

Mon 31st Mar, 2025

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has publicly disclosed the income of his family for the past year, revealing that they earned approximately 15.2 million hryvnias, equivalent to around EUR335,000. This information was made available through an official tax declaration released by the Presidential Office.

In comparison, the family's income during the year marking the onset of the Russian invasion in 2022 was reported to be 3.7 million hryvnias (about EUR83,000), while the previous year, it stood at 10.8 million hryvnias (around EUR242,000).

Nearly half of the income reported for 2024 was derived from the sale of government bonds. Additionally, the president's salary was supplemented by interest from bank accounts and rental income from properties owned by the family. The increase in rental income is attributed to the resumption of full rent payments.

The Presidential Office indicated that the overall financial status of President Zelenskyy's family has not significantly changed since the end of 2024. However, specifics regarding their current financial balance were not disclosed. Furthermore, there were no notable changes in the family's assets, real estate, or vehicles over the past year.

Before entering politics, Zelenskyy was a well-known actor, film producer, and screenwriter, with various sources estimating his wealth to be in the millions. However, precise figures regarding his net worth remain undisclosed.

Reports from Ukrainian news agency Unian indicate that Zelenskyy's children, Olexandra and Kyrylo, continue to reside in Ukraine. In light of the ongoing conflict and a busy schedule, the president has mentioned implementing a '5+5 program' for his family, which allows for five minutes of quality time together in the morning and an additional five minutes in the evening.
