Supreme Court Permits Trump Administration to Terminate TPS for Venezuelans

The United States Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Trump administration's decision to revoke temporary protected status (TPS) for approximately 350,000 Venezuelans residing in the country. This ruling aligns with the administration's ongoing efforts to adopt a stricter immigration policy.

The court's decision came in response to a request from the Justice Department to lift a prior federal court order that had blocked the termination of TPS. The Supreme Court did not provide any detailed reasoning behind its swift ruling, which included one dissenting opinion.
