Suella Braverman, a former Home Secretary and current member of the UK Parliament, has announced her departure from the Conservative Party to join Reform UK, a political party led by Nigel Farage. Additionally, Robert Jenrick, another senior Conservative, was removed from the party after indications that he was planning to leave for Reform UK.

Her tenure ended after disagreements with the party's approach to the European Convention on Human Rights, with Braverman advocating for the UK to leave the convention to enhance its control over immigration policies.
