Cagliari, Italy - Known for its crystal-clear waters and pristine sandy shores, the Spiaggia di Tuerredda in southern Sardinia is soon set to implement a new access policy that will require visitors to book their entrance via a mobile application. This popular beach, frequently lauded in travel guides and online reviews, is a prime destination for holidaymakers eager to soak up the sun.

The local government of Teulada has identified an issue with overcrowding at the beach and has decided to limit daily visitor numbers to 1,100. Starting in July, access will be regulated through a registration system that mandates visitors to secure their spot through a digital ticketing process available via an app, which is yet to be named but will be revealed prior to its launch.

The ticket prices remain affordable, with fees ranging from one to two euros per person. It's important to note that reservations will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and any reserved spot will be forfeited if the individual does not arrive on time.
