Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Surprised by Trump's Weight Loss Claims During Fast-Food Interview

Thu 13th Mar, 2025

In a recent interview at a fast-food restaurant, U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. commented on President Donald Trump's health, stating that he believes Trump has lost a significant amount of weight. This assertion came during a discussion with Fox News host Sean Hannity, who pointed out that Trump has been living a healthier lifestyle.

Kennedy mentioned that after a recent meeting with Trump, he estimates that the President may have shed around 30 pounds (approximately 13.6 kilograms). Hannity, in response, noted that Trump appears to be in great shape and shared insights into how Trump has managed this weight loss. According to Hannity, Trump has modified his burger consumption by typically opting to forgo the bun.

The revelation took Kennedy by surprise, as he admitted to being unaware of any changes in Trump's dietary habits. Hannity, seemingly privy to more information, suggested that they had previously discussed this topic, although it was unclear whether he was supposed to share it publicly.

In November 2024, Kennedy was photographed alongside Trump and other notable figures, including Elon Musk, on board Trump's aircraft, which featured a buffet of McDonald's items. At that time, Kennedy had criticized the President's dietary choices, labeling them as 'poison' and expressing concern about the poor quality of the food available during campaign events. He stated that the options were limited to fast food, primarily KFC or Big Macs, and remarked that much of the food was inedible.

While the specifics of Trump's diet remain a topic of discussion, it is known that his annual health examination is approaching, although the exact date has not been disclosed. In January 2024, Trump had previously mentioned to Fox News' Brian Kilmeade that he had lost 20 pounds through hard work and a busy schedule, which made it difficult for him to maintain regular eating habits.

As discussions about Trump's health and lifestyle continue, the public remains curious about any potential long-term weight loss goals he may have set for himself.
