Loxstedt, Germany - A new attraction is set to open in Loxstedt, Niedersachsen on May 15, marking the debut of the seventh Karls Erlebnis-Dorf. Construction on the 4.2-hectare site, conveniently located near the A27 highway connecting Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven, is progressing rapidly.

The development of this leisure park is undergoing significant advancements, although the construction has encountered a unique challenge requiring a pile foundation. This involves driving steel elements into the ground, which will be filled with concrete, allowing for the construction of a solid base for the future buildings.

Significant progress has already been made on the heart of the park, the Manufakturenmarkt, which will span 2,500 square meters. This area is designed to showcase regional products, decorative items, jams, and sweets, with strawberries being a highlight, although there are no plans for on-site strawberry cultivation.

The Loxstedt attraction will feature several amenities, including farm shops, playgrounds, restaurants, and popular rides for children, such as a caterpillar train, a potato sack slide, and a tractor ride. Additionally, unique attractions are planned, including a whimsical area named Pipi-Kaka-Land, which will feature an oversized toilet structure with a slide designed to resemble a drainage pipe. This playful idea is inspired by the historical context of the first public toilets in Bremerhaven.

As anticipation builds for the opening of the new strawberry farm, it is worth noting that there are numerous job openings available, with hiring processes taking place without the need for formal applications or appointments.

Nationwide, Karls Erdbeerhöfe is experiencing a surge in popularity, with plans underway for 13 new Erlebnis-Dörfer. The founder, Robert Dahl, has disclosed that the investment for this new site amounts to approximately 25 million euros. Despite this substantial expenditure, the park will offer free entry, with revenue generated through shops and fee-based attractions.

The excitement surrounding this new venture is palpable, as organizers promise a distinctive experience tailored to the local community.
