In Mochenwangen, a disturbing incident occurred during the annual Dorffasnet festival on Friday evening, resulting in injuries to two young males. The situation escalated when a group comprising approximately twelve individuals became embroiled in a dispute with the victims.
During the altercation, several members of the group physically assaulted one of the young men, delivering punches and kicks. When his companion attempted to intervene and assist him, he too fell victim to the aggression. Following the incident, the assailants fled the scene and remain unidentified by authorities.
Both victims sustained minor injuries and were treated accordingly. The Weingarten police department has initiated an investigation into the attack and is actively seeking any information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators.
Local authorities urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation. The community is rallying together in support of the victims as they recover from this unsettling experience.
