Manuel Hagel Announces Candidacy for Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg Against Cem Özdemir

Manuel Hagel, the leader of the CDU in Baden-Württemberg, has officially declared his intention to run as the party's top candidate in the upcoming state election in 2026. This announcement comes as the current Minister-President, Winfried Kretschmann of the Green Party, prepares to retire after serving three terms.
