Fujifilm Launches the Instax Mini 41 Instant Camera

Wed 9th Apr, 2025

Fujifilm has officially unveiled the Instax Mini 41, a new addition to its line of instant cameras. This latest model serves as the successor to the Instax Mini 40 and showcases a distinct design that sets it apart from previous iterations.

The Instax Mini 41 merges nostalgic elements reminiscent of the 1980s with a contemporary metallic finish, aiming to blend modern instant photography technology with user-friendly operation.

Technological Advancements

One of the key features of the Instax Mini 41 is its automatic exposure control system, which intelligently adjusts the shutter speed and flash output based on the ambient light. This innovation ensures that users can capture well-exposed images under varying lighting conditions without needing to make complex adjustments.

Another notable enhancement is the incorporation of parallax correction, a feature that aligns the viewfinder's perspective with the final print, making it particularly useful for close-up photography.

User-Friendly Design

The camera's operational design is straightforward. Users can activate the device by simply rotating the lens, and a further twist enables the close-up mode. Additionally, a built-in selfie mirror facilitates easy self-portrait captures. With a focusing range starting at just 0.3 meters, the Instax Mini 41 accommodates a wide array of photographic subjects--from close-ups to spontaneous snapshots.

It utilizes Fujifilm's Instax Mini instant film, which contains ten exposures per cartridge. The camera features a programmable electronic shutter and an integrated flash with an effective range of up to 2.2 meters. The power source comprises two AA batteries, allowing for approximately 100 photographs.

Availability and Pricing

With the launch of the Instax Mini 41, Fujifilm expands its camera portfolio to 14 distinct models, solidifying its position as a leader in the instant photography market. The combination of retro aesthetics and modern functionality is designed to appeal to both style-conscious consumers seeking a unique camera and novices prioritizing ease of use.

The Instax Mini 41 is set to hit retail stores on April 17, 2025, with a price tag of EUR120. A compatible camera bag will also be available for purchase at a price of EUR25.
