A tragic incident unfolded in Brandenburg on Friday when a small cabin boat capsized on the Kleine Beetzsee, resulting in one fatality and another person reported missing. The boat, measuring approximately nine square meters, collided with a weir on the Havel river, leading to the accident.

According to local authorities, two teenagers, aged 17, were present at the scene and managed to rescue one of the men from the water, bringing him to shore. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later. Meanwhile, efforts to locate the second individual, presumed to be the owner of the boat, have so far been unsuccessful.

In a related incident on the Havel river, another tragic event took place when a rowing quad collided with a freighter, resulting in the death of a 56-year-old woman. Additionally, a 27-year-old man sustained severe injuries in a separate incident on a Berlin S-Bahn train, where he later died after efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
