Coppola Receives AFI Life Achievement Award from Spielberg and Lucas

Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola is set to expand his collection of accolades with the prestigious AFI Life Achievement Award, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the cinematic arts. The announcement was made by the American Film Institute (AFI), revealing that fellow directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas will present the award to Coppola during the gala event.

At 86 years old, Coppola is celebrated for his groundbreaking films, including the iconic 'The Godfather' and 'Apocalypse Now,' which have left an indelible mark on film history.
