Bieber's Monkey Left Behind Indefinitely

Sat 4th May, 2013

Famed Canadian singer, Justin Bieber made headlines when he attempted to bring a tiny, young monkey through the German Toll for his concert at the end of March. Due to missing papers, the monkey was confiscated, only to be released with proper documentation.

Though Bieber has long since left Germany, his monkey is still here. According to reports, his team have had minimal interest in the monkey's safety and well-being and have ignored proper etiquette.

The cost of keeping and caring for the monkey is around 65 euro a day, and the cost of its stay has amounted to almost 2000 euro, which the German authorities are demanding the Bieber camp reimburse them for.

The team have supposedly written an email to the Munich Animal Shelter to inquire about ridding themselves of the 14 week old monkey, Mally.

The Munich Zoo is not an option for poor Mally, as his breed of monkey is meant to be kept in groups, not in solitary confinement, and the zoo does not currently keep Capuchin Monkeys. It seems like a sad ending for this monkey and his stay in Munich.
