Double Feature at the Orangerie

Asus has introduced the MD101, a wireless USB mouse designed to enhance the workplace experience by releasing pleasant fragrances. This unique device features a small compartment located at the rear, which can be filled with aromatic oils, as per the company's announcement.
The aroma tank is removable, allowing users to clean it and refill it with either the same or different scented liquids. However, Asus specifies that pure essential oils should not be used. Instead, users can opt for liquids intended for aroma stones or ultrasonic diffusers.
Interestingly, there appears to be no direct relationship between the actions performed by the user--such as clicking and scrolling--and the emission of scents from the device. Additionally, the technical details provided do not clarify how the fragrance is released into the environment or how it correlates with the mouse's operation.
From a technical standpoint, the MD101 functions as a standard wireless mouse, equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and operating at DPI settings of 12,000, 16,000, and 24,000. It is available in two colors: white and pink, with an operational range of up to ten meters from the receiver. The mouse is also advertised with a longevity of ten million clicks and low noise levels from its buttons.
Asus has yet to disclose pricing or the official launch date for this innovative product.
