Sat 1st Feb, 2025

Bremen - On Friday evening, two armed individuals carried out a robbery at a kiosk located on Osterholzer Landstraße. The assailants entered the kiosk around 9:15 PM, despite it being closed, and threatened the 49-year-old cashier with a firearm and a knife, demanding cash.

In a display of bravery, the cashier refused to comply with their demands and attempted to defend himself using his mobile phone. This act of defiance prompted the robbers to flee the scene empty-handed, making their escape towards Blockdiekfleet.

The police have released descriptions of the suspects. One is described as approximately 35 years old, standing about 1.80 meters tall, and was wearing dark long trousers along with a dark top featuring a blue emblem on the left side of the chest. The second suspect, similarly aged and sized, wore dark pants with a reflective strip at the bottom, paired with a dark blue top that had white stripes on the sleeves and a white emblem on the left side. Additionally, he was seen wearing hexagonal sunglasses.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspects to contact the criminal investigation service at 0421 362-3888.

The police have commended the courageous actions of the kiosk cashier but caution against taking unnecessary risks during such incidents. They advise individuals to avoid confrontation and instead focus on memorizing the characteristics of the perpetrators and their escape routes, and to immediately call emergency services at 110.
