Amazon Lockers for Munich

Amazon plans to become more and more independent from the classical parcel services business model. Therefore the online giant set up their own amazon lockers - a grey variation of the DHL Packstations - in Germany. The first ones were placed in supermarket car parks in towns like Dortmund, Essen and Augsburg and since then have also reached Munich.

According to an article on t3n, an Amazon spokesman commented: " We are planning to set up more lockers in and around Munich in the near future."

If you want to get your orders delivered to an amazon locker, you can find out the availability of it in your area and chose the locker as a mailing address during the ordering process.

Due to the limited storage space of the lockers customers need to pick up their goods within three days, otherwise the order will be returned to the dispatch office.
