The ADAC, Germany's largest automobile club, has reported significant growth in its membership numbers, reaching a total of 22,212,545 members by the end of the previous year. This marks an increase of approximately 400,000 members compared to the previous year, reflecting the organization's expanding influence and appeal.

During the upcoming general assembly taking place in Berlin, ADAC President Christian Reinicke expressed optimism regarding future growth projections, stating that the club aims to reach at least 24 million members by the year 2030.

Reinicke, who has been at the helm since 2021, noted that the membership count at that time was about one million lower than the current figure. His leadership will be put to the test, as he seeks re-election alongside other key officials, including the Presidents of Sports, Technology, and Tourism.

The ADAC's headquarters is located in Munich, and the general assembly is hosted annually at one of the club's 18 regional branches. This year, it is being held in Berlin, showcasing the organization's commitment to engaging with its members across various regions.

The noticeable increase in membership can be attributed to various factors, including the ADAC's ongoing initiatives to enhance services for drivers and travelers, as well as its strong advocacy for road safety and mobility solutions.

As the ADAC continues to grow, it remains dedicated to providing its members with a wide range of benefits and resources, making it an essential ally for motorists in Germany.
