In addition to the police, local traffic supervisors now also monitor cyclists.

The municipal traffic office not only cares about parking offenders or speeders on the side streets of Munich, they are now also tasked with keeping an eye on cyclists. Municipal traffic supervisors are patrolling areas around the Old Town ranging from Hofbrà¤uhaus to the Frauenkirche and further down to the Viktualienmarkt. Those who cycle too fast, have to pay '‚¬15 according to the KVR, while riding in pedestrian zones will mean a '‚¬10 penalty.
