Munich. A suitcase full of butcher knives, a bag with fresh fish and a set of teeth - the list of findings in Munich's taxis is long and strange.
A total of 100 taxi drivers were asked in the middle of July by Munich's computer security company, Acronis: "Which things have customers forgotten in your taxi?". The drivers questioned were from the central train station, Ostbahnhof and Munich airport.
The result, besides further strange objects like a hair dryer and cat litter, includes a total of 61 mobile phones, 24 smart phones, 9 notebooks and multiple usb sticks. They also found an envelope full of cash, a credit card and gloves made of crocodile leather. The most valuable items found were a golden bracelet and ruby earrings, worth a few thousand euros. The taxi drivers tried to find the owners to give back the lost items.
