Munich. An accident occurred at Ludwigsbrücke: a pensioner (73) has been run over by a car at the tram stop, reports TZ.
On Thursday morning the elderly man was about to cross the road to the Ludwigsbrücke tram stop. He overlooked an approaching Mercedes. The 73 years old was hit by the car and thrown onto the road behind the Mercedes. He suffered multiple fractures and severe injuries to the head.
The emergency medical team and paramedics of the Fire Service initiated necessary resuscitation measures. An ambulance took the man to the emergency room of a Munich clinic. There, the man later died of his injuries.
