Munich. Two children who tried to play a harmless trick on their mother, saw a tragedy narrowly avoided when the five year daughter fell from the second floor apartment window.
When the mother exited the property for a few seconds, the daughter and the three-year son playfully shut the front door, so that the 29-year-old mother could no longer come into the apartment. She immediately informed the property manager, who finally opened the door with the master key.
Once in the apartment, the mother got a terrible shock. Only the three-year son was there, the daughter was nowhere to be found. The little girl had opened the bathroom window and fell from the second floor. A 17-year-old neighbor found the girl on the gravel and informed the emergency services. The child was taken to a local Munich hospital. Fortunately, she suffered only bruises after the fall.
