The celebrated production from the Salzburg Landestheater, directed by Andreas Gergen, will be presented in Munich as part of the "Flower Power Festival" for a two-week run.

Hair's impact has been nothing short of transformative. When it premiered on Broadway in 1968, its raw energy, experimental storytelling, and political themes caused a scandal. However, it quickly gained cult status worldwide and became a symbol of the peace movement and youth counterculture. The musical's powerful rock music and psychedelic elements create an energetic and immersive experience. Hit songs like "Let The Sunshine In" and "Ain't Got No" have become classics. The creators, Gerome Ragni and James Rado, drew inspiration from their own lives to craft the autobiographically inspired Off-Broadway musical.
