Germany is poised to witness a groundbreaking artistic event as the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) prepares to host a sweeping solo exhibition featuring some of Damien Hirst's most celebrated masterpieces. Commencing on October 26, 2023, this unprecedented showcase marks the first time that Germany will welcome the iconic works of the renowned artist within its borders.

Among the highlights of this momentous exhibition stands Damien Hirst's "For the Love of God" (2007), a platinum cast of a human skull adorned with a staggering 8,601 diamonds. "The Weight of Things" also unveils the intriguing marriage of legend and imagination within Hirst's marble and bronze sculptures and light boxes from the acclaimed Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable series. Originally presented at Venice's Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi in 2017, these works narrate a fictitious saga of an ancient shipwreck, blurring the lines between fact and fiction.
