Baumgart's frustration is directed at the German Football Association (DFB) for what he perceives as an excessive disciplinary measure. He described the yellow card system implemented in the 2019/20 season as 'completely nonsensical.' He believes that the DFB lacks the necessary understanding of the dynamics and pressures coaches face during matches, particularly in challenging situations.

The coach highlighted that it has become increasingly common for coaches to be suspended more frequently than players, indicating a troubling trend in the league.
