Serious Collision on A2 Involving Truck and Coach

A significant accident occurred on the A2 motorway, resulting in considerable disruption when a truck collided with a passenger coach. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon around 1 PM, in the direction of Dortmund, near the Hannover-Buchholz interchange.

Emergency services were alerted to the scene following multiple calls to the regional control center. The collision involved a 40-ton freight truck and a coach carrying several passengers. In total, 37 individuals were affected by the incident, among them two individuals sustained serious injuries while four others suffered minor injuries.

Approximately 35 emergency responders, including two senior physicians, were involved in the operation. Special rescue vehicles and a helicopter were also deployed to assist at the site of the incident.
