The suspect, identified as Tengizi K., aged 46, allegedly doused his wife, Darejani M., also 46, with gasoline inside a tram and set her on fire. This brutal attack has left the victim in critical condition with severe burn injuries.
Following the assault, Tengizi K. fled the scene, prompting a manhunt that lasted for 23 hours. Authorities reported that he eventually surrendered to the police, who are now investigating the circumstances surrounding this horrific event.
