The bomb: at least 3 million in damage

Early estimates have the damage cause by last week's WWII at around 3 to 4 million euros.

After windows were blasted out by the force of the explosion, walls were cracked and some buildings were left wreathed in flame, one could comment that these early estimates seem surprisingly low.

On Wednesday the largest building insurer in Bavaria, Versicherungskammer Bayern, reported that during the days since the blast, 20 reports of building damages have come to light, along with claims for the contents of such buildings. Business-interruption losses along with claims on the technical insurance industry have also driven the estimated total damage upwards.
