Airport. Exciting drifts, fascinating bike-to-bike fights and breath-taking stunts can be expected on the 29th of August at Munich airport. This years Supermoto Trophy Suedbayern takes place at the airport.
Supermoto - spectacular action on two wheels is held partly on asphalt, partly in the open country. For 30 years this sport exists and is powered by the search for the sport's best biker. On a combination of street racetrack and moto-cross slope there is a fight for every position.
The SMC Munich e. V. and the ADAC have held the race in Munich for 5 years and are happy about the growing audience numbers. Besides amateur categories there will be a course for athletes under licence, which use the races to train for international championships. The notable difference regarding the race track at the airport, is that it is offroad. Which means every spectator can follow the entire race from any seat.
Another highlight besides the race will be a show featuring the stunt driver Jo "Stunt" Bauer, who will be performing many spectacular tricks.
The admission fee is 5 Euro, with children and teenagers under 16 years admitted free.
