In a troubling incident that unfolded near the Bielefeld District Court, gunfire erupted following a hearing linked to the death of a former professional boxer. The police are actively searching for a suspect after the shooting left four individuals injured.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant on charges of attempted murder and aggravated bodily harm against an unnamed individual. The police, however, have refrained from disclosing details about the suspect due to ongoing investigations. A dedicated homicide unit has been established, and officials are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

The shooting occurred after a court session related to the death of Besar Nimani, a former professional boxer. The victims of the shooting, aged 23, 25 (two victims), and 63, were reportedly relatives or close associates of the accused, who is 34 years old. First responders from the police provided immediate assistance to one of the injured individuals at the scene. Fortunately, the current health status of all injured parties has been reported as stable.

On the night of the incident, two potential suspects were temporarily detained; however, they were released shortly after due to insufficient evidence to support the allegations against them.

The incident has raised significant concerns regarding safety and security around the courthouse, prompting officials to review security measures in place during ongoing trials. As investigators continue to piece together the events leading up to the shooting, the community remains on alert.
