Authorities are intensifying their search efforts for Pawlos, a six-year-old boy from Weilburg, who has been missing for six days. Despite extensive efforts, there have been no significant breakthroughs in the case.

The search operation, which involves police forces from the Westhessen region, continued over the weekend, with officers conducting searches both during the day and night. A police spokesperson confirmed that there are currently no new leads that could help locate the child. A reassessment of the search strategy is scheduled for Monday, where officials will explore new areas of focus for the investigation.

Pawlos, who attends a special education school, was last seen on a Tuesday afternoon when he left the school premises unexpectedly. Shortly after, he was spotted by a passerby near a small train station close to the Lahn River, just a few hundred meters from his school.

In a recent development, a video surfaced that reportedly shows a child resembling Pawlos standing on a busy street, accompanied by an unidentified adult who appears to be guiding him away from traffic. This footage is believed to have been recorded shortly after the sighting at the train station and marks the last known visual confirmation of the boy.

According to police reports, Pawlos has autism, and authorities have urged the public to exercise caution if they see him. They recommend that individuals do not approach or call out to him directly, as he may become frightened. Instead, anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts should contact the police immediately.

In the past week, the search has mobilized hundreds of personnel, including rescue dogs, mounted police units, boats, and helicopters. While divers were deployed to search the Lahn River earlier, they were not utilized over the weekend. The efforts remain focused on finding any clues that could lead to Pawlos's safe return.
