Extended Call for Proposals for S2N Conference on Storage, Server, and Network

The S2N Conference, dedicated to Storage, Server, and Network professionals, is set to take place on October 22nd and 23rd, 2025, in the picturesque city of Regensburg, Germany. This two-day event aims to bring together system administrators, IT architects, IT leaders, and other experts engaged in managing IT infrastructure, whether in data centers, colocation facilities, server rooms, or hybrid cloud environments.

Experts in storage, networking, and server technology are invited to submit their proposals for presentations until May 4th, 2025. The conference seeks in-depth technical talks, experiential reports, and best practices that address current challenges faced by data center professionals and IT infrastructure managers. Topics of interest include the increasing volume of data, the integration of artificial intelligence, and the necessity for data center infrastructures to handle modern workloads and high performance densities.

This year, the S2N Conference will facilitate meaningful discussions among data center operators and administrators. Contributions are welcomed on topics related to data center infrastructure, including power supply, cooling, and fire compartment planning, particularly those aimed at networking or server experts. The conference will also focus on cloud and hybrid infrastructures, with an emphasis on virtualization technologies like Proxmox. Additionally, topics such as backup and restore strategies, software-defined networking, and troubleshooting techniques will be highlighted.

Interested speakers can apply to present a 40-minute talk using the online submission form available on the S2N website. Proposals should be concrete, ambitious, and diverse in nature. Submissions may cover technical presentations, personal experiences, projects, strategies, best practices, and emerging technologies that are poised for implementation in data centers.

A selection committee composed of specialists in storage, server, and networking will curate the program based on the submissions received.
