Munich. Triple crash: a pensioner caused three crashes at the Brudermuehltunnel within a few minutes. He drove his car into a lorry, twice.
He was driving too fast during the dense rush hour traffic and crashed into a car driving in front of him in the Brudermuehl tunnel.
After the accident the 90 year old man got back into his car and drove forwards, hitting the lorry which had stopped because of the previous accident. The pensioner tried his luck again and hit the lorry a second time.
Face to face with the police, the man explained that his foot was stuck between the brake and gas pedal. The officers discovered "age-related deficits" and determined that the man was not qualified for driving. The police kept his driving licence.
