In a recent incident at the Zoologischer Garten station in Berlin, law enforcement officials apprehended a 30-year-old man who was found in possession of approximately 700 prescription medications. The arrest took place during a routine check by officers from the Federal Police on Tuesday evening.

Authorities have raised suspicions that the individual may have been involved in the illegal trade of these pharmaceuticals. During the search, officials also discovered a folding knife secured to the man's waistband. Following his arrest, the suspect was briefly detained before being released.

The Federal Police are now conducting an investigation into potential violations of the German Medicines Act and the Narcotics Act, as well as the carrying of a weapon in public. This incident underscores ongoing concerns regarding the illicit distribution of controlled substances and the accompanying risks associated with unregulated medication.

As investigations progress, the Federal Police continue to emphasize the importance of vigilance in public spaces, particularly concerning the potential for drug-related offenses. The presence of a significant quantity of prescription medications raises questions about the intentions behind their possession and distribution.
