According to initial reports, the rider was traveling alone on the connector road from Waldhusener Straße to B75, heading towards the Lübeck city center. The rider appeared to have lost balance while navigating a right turn, leading to the fall.
Upon the police's arrival at the scene, suspicions arose regarding the rider's sobriety, resulting in the decision to administer a blood test. Further investigation revealed that the scooter, a Piaggio model, was uninsured, and the rider did not possess a valid driving license.
The police are currently conducting investigations concerning driving under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle without a license, and other related traffic offenses. The estimated damage to the scooter is around 150 euros.
