Lothar Matthäus Teams Up with Health Food Brand BLITZbee to Promote Wellness and Performance

Lothar Matthäus, the legendary football star, is entering the health food industry through a partnership with BLITZbee, a Munich-based functional food brand. The collaboration aims to promote healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about the benefits of functional foods that enhance physical and mental performance.

As part of this initiative, Matthäus and the BLITZbee team are starring in a film exploring the intersection of sports, resilience, and well-being. The documentary delves into Matthäus's illustrious career, the challenges he faced, and the role that a balanced and health-conscious lifestyle played in his success.

Filmed against the scenic backdrops of Munich and Kitzbühel, the production highlights how functional foods and a focus on health can contribute to success--not only in sports but also in everyday life.

"Success, whether in sports or life, is about more than just physical ability," said Matthäus. "It's about staying energized, focused, and taking care of your body and mind. Through this film, I hope to inspire others to prioritize their health and embrace a balanced lifestyle."

The project aligns with BLITZbee's mission to promote wellness through innovative, natural products. BLITZbee, known for its natural high-caffeine drink made from honey, lemon, and lime juices, entered the German market in 2024. The brand's products, free from white sugar and chemical additives, are already available in major retail chains like REWE, EDEKA, and Markgrafen. In October, BLITZbee became an official partner of SpVgg Unterhaching, a team in Germany's 3rd Fußball-Liga.

The film, expected to be completed later this year, is currently in discussions with streaming platforms to ensure wide accessibility. Matthäus's involvement underscores his ongoing commitment to inspiring others, transitioning from a celebrated footballer to an advocate for health-conscious living.
