Lilalu Summer 2023 Kickstarts Kids Activities
The summer holidays start on July 31 - and so does Lilalu, the holiday program of the Johanniter. The organizers have prepared an exciting and educationally high-quality program for 4 to 13 year olds and all Munich families. In 24 one-day and one-week workshops, children and young people learn disciplines from airtrack to magic. There are discounts for participants from families with middle or lower incomes. The whole family gets active and creative with the free "Free & Outdoors" program.
With its program, Lilalu ensures that the summer holidays at home in Munich are also an unforgettable experience:
From August 2nd to September 8th, one-day workshops for 7 to 13 year olds that can be booked flexibly will take place in the Olympiapark Süd:
- At "Be active! - Beacharea" children and young people practice various ball sports on a specially constructed beach area. The workshop generally takes place outside.
- "Be creative! - creative workshop" offers space for imagination: Here, children and young people can paint, design and do handicrafts, for example.
- Tickets for "Be active!" and "Be creative" are available at www.lilalu-ticketshop.de. Lunch is included in the price of the one-day workshops. Children from families with (currently) middle or low incomes can take part in the Lilalu workshops at a reduced rate.
From July 31 to September 9, Lilalu is offering 22 different one-week workshops for 4 to 13 year olds in the Olympic Park:
- You can choose from workshops in the areas of circus disciplines, sports & trend sports, quiet & creative, for the little ones to get started.
- "Airtrack - How to backflip" for 7 to 13 year olds is brand new.
- Only in the summer program are the workshops "Movement Promotion & Games of the World" (4 to 5 years), "Cook Mal - Kitchen Magic & Conscious Nutrition" (7 to 13 years), Soccer (5 to 9 years) and "Graffiti & Modern Art" (10 to 13 years).
The six-day workshops last from Monday to Saturday. On the last day of the workshop, the children and young people perform together in a final show and show what they have learned during the week. Tickets for the week-long workshops are available at www.lilalu-ticketshop.de. Information on discounted tickets is available at the same address.
The training time for both the one-day and the one-week workshops is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Upon request, participants can be looked after throughout the day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The workshops are led by professionals from the fields of artistry, sports, circus arts, etc. Pedagogically trained holiday supervisors are on hand to provide support. The supervision ratio in the groups is 1:7 on average.
Parallel to the holiday workshops for children and young people, the Johanniter also offer a free program for the whole family in summer: "Free & Outside". The program includes juggling, handicrafts and painting, there is a play tent, a bouncy castle, giant trampolines and a sandpit as well as a beer garden. "Free & Outside" takes place from July 31 to September 8 in the Olympiapark Süd, Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Detailed information on Lilalu is available at www.lilalu.de or Tel. 0800 / 000 60 18 (free of charge from all German networks).
