Popsinger Jeanette Biedermann has been eliminated from the popular RTL dance show 'Let's Dance' after delivering a spirited performance of the Paso Doble. The elimination took place during the eighth episode of the season, which aired recently. In a competition marked by high scores and intense audience engagement, Biedermann found herself at the bottom of the voting results despite a captivating final performance.
In contrast, actress Christine Neubauer made a notable return to the show following her unexpected exit two weeks prior. Neubauer, who had been granted another opportunity due to Simone Thomalla's withdrawal from the competition due to injury, showcased her talent with a nostalgic Tango alongside her partner, Valentin Lusin, earning a commendable score of 28 points.
The latest episode followed a brief hiatus due to the Easter celebrations, during which the contestants swapped partners for the night. Each participant had the chance to perform two dances: one with their original partner and another with a new dance partner. Stunt performer Marie Mouroum, dancing with Renata Lusin, captivated both the audience and judges with her Tango, receiving enthusiastic praise from the judging panel.
Mouroum's second dance, a Slowfox with partner Alexandru Ionel, also impressed the judges, with one of them declaring it the best performance of the evening. The episode saw a total of eleven scores of ten awarded by the judges, including one for Biedermann and her partner Vadim Garbuzov for their Paso Doble.
Simone Thomalla appeared briefly in the episode to bid farewell, revealing that she had been struggling with knee pain but reassured fans that she would not face any long-term damage. Thomalla expressed hope of returning for the finale, wishing Neubauer the best in her continued participation in the competition.
Looking ahead, the upcoming ninth episode will feature the remaining six contestants performing their 'Magic Moments' and competing against one another to the same music, promising an exciting continuation of the season.
