Authorities in Berlin are investigating a series of fires that engulfed four Tesla vehicles in the city, raising suspicions of potential arson linked to extremist activities. The incidents occurred within a span of approximately 30 minutes across various neighborhoods, leading to damage to five additional cars parked nearby.

The first blaze was reported around 1:40 AM in Treptow on Neue Krugallee, where two adjacent vehicles were also affected by the flames. Shortly after, a witness alerted the police to another Tesla on fire in Albrechtstraße, located in the Steglitz district. The situation escalated with two more Teslas igniting in Am Eichgarten, also in Steglitz. According to police reports, all four vehicles were completely destroyed by the fires, and three other parked cars sustained damage from the heat.

The investigations are being led by the State Protection Division of the Landeskriminalamt (LKA), which is responsible for handling politically motivated crimes. Authorities have indicated that the possibility of a political motive behind these incidents cannot be ruled out.

This wave of vehicle fires comes amidst growing criticism aimed at Tesla CEO Elon Musk, particularly following his previous association with former U.S. President Donald Trump. In the United States, Tesla vehicles have also been targeted in similar attacks, raising concerns about the company's visibility and the reactions it provokes.

As investigations continue, police are urging anyone with information related to the incidents to come forward. The community remains on alert as authorities work to determine the motives and identities of those responsible for these destructive acts.
