Munich - Heavy rains over the last few days have caused flooding on the Isar, particularly in Upper Bavaria. Although almost all river levels have now slowly receded, there is still a danger to smaller riverbanks, according to the Bavarian Flood Information Services. There was also an unexpected increase in water levels in Feldolling Mangfall.

The police stated that only some roads were still closed for the night in Bavaria due to the flooding. These included the B307 at Raiten and several state highways. Last Saturday there was also slight disruption of traffic due to floods along the A8 at Anger and on highway 2 between Oberau and Eschenlohe.
