Upcoming Weather Conditions

Residents are bracing for a spell of frigid temperatures, with nighttime lows expected to reach as low as minus 15 degrees Celsius in certain areas. The wintry weather will persist for several days, but a warming trend is anticipated by the end of the week.

Current Temperatures

Today, those venturing outdoors for a Sunday stroll will need to bundle up, as the eastern and southern regions are experiencing light, persistent frost. Elsewhere, temperatures will hover between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius.

As we head into Monday morning, widespread frost is predicted, with some areas in the east experiencing bitterly cold lows of minus 15 degrees. During the day, however, the forecast suggests plenty of sunshine, though the cold will continue, particularly in the east and north, where temperatures are expected to remain around the freezing mark, while the rest of the country may see highs of up to 5 degrees.

Expectations for the Week

On Tuesday night, temperatures will again plummet, with potential lows of minus 8 degrees in the west and minus 15 degrees in the east. Daytime conditions may improve slightly, bringing sunny spells and highs reaching 7 degrees.

Forecast Insights

Meteorologists are optimistic about a significant warm-up as we approach the latter half of the week. According to weather experts, a marked increase in temperatures from the southwest is predicted, with highs potentially soaring to a balmy 15 degrees by Friday in the western regions. The eastern areas, while not expected to warm quite as dramatically, will also see a gradual rise in temperatures, pulling them out of the extreme cold.

As winter continues to grip much of the country, residents are advised to prepare for the cold and keep an eye on the changing weather conditions, especially as milder temperatures are on the horizon.
