Fork Lift Collapses

Starnberg. The fire brigade at Starnberg helped upright a fork lift truck on Monday evening. The vehicle collapsed under heavy weight.

The workers of a building and garden market had underestimated the weight of plants sitting on a pallet when they wanted to transport them with the fork lift. The vehicle fell over but luckily nobody was injured.

Eight volunteers of the fire brigade in Starnberg used a crane and hydraulic lifting equipment to get the fork lift back on its wheels. The work took over an hour because the plants had to be loaded off the pallet and then the fork lift had to be secured to prevent it from falling over again.
