Zamanand in Europa
Join us in celebrating European values through a diverse program that is loud, quiet, reflective, and danceable. The event will kick off on Saturday at 16:00 with notable speakers including Dr. Christian Scharpf, Economic Advisor to the City of Munich, Wolfgang Bücherl, Head of the EU Commission Representation in Munich, and Manuel Schaumann, organizer of the Zamanand Festival. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the theme of Europe through interactive workshops and discussion formats, embodying the spirit of dialogue and participation that the Zamanand Festival is known for.
The music lineup is equally impressive: On May 24th at 18:30, enjoy a live performance by Kapotaki, who will bring an energetic mix of Bavarian sounds, Balkan brass, ska, and reggae. On Sunday, May 25th, starting at 11:30, the Monaco Franzis, a women's choir with over 70 singers, will take the stage, showcasing a wide repertoire from pop to jazz. The evening will conclude with a performance by Tula Troubles at 18:30, known for their eclectic sound blending folk, cumbia, and Balkan music, gaining recognition far beyond Munich.
