On Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 20:00, the British songwriter Will Varley will present his new album, "Machines Will Never Learn To Make Mistakes Like Me," live in Germany. This album features three singles, with the latest, "Never Get Tired Of You," released in January--a heartfelt tribute to his daughters, reminiscent of Van Morrison's songwriting style. Another track, "Whatever's Left," carries a folk vibe and a haunting melancholy similar to Varley's well-known song "Seize The Night." "Everything Has A Heartbeat" showcases a richer production with a subtle country twang that suits his sound beautifully. Varley describes the album as a reflection of his experiences, stating, "I wrote these songs in empty dives and waiting rooms of hospitals, during nights in delivery rooms, hotel lobbies, rest stops, and broken tour buses." The album explores themes of trying to be a hundred different people at once, encompassing hope, despair, survival, love, and addiction--touching on lives not lived and the unknown. Excited to tour Germany again after a series of intimate club shows, Varley expressed, "The audience we had over the last few months blew us away, and as soon as we finished in Berlin, I wanted to do it all over again. There's nothing better than playing live, and it's been a while since I've done a proper tour like this. I can't wait to perform in some of the best independent venues in the world."
