Velvet Terrorism: Pussy Riot's Russia

Haus der Kunst

What does resistance mean in art? This is the largest presentation to date of works by the feminist artistic collective Pussy Riot, which transforms the repressive tools of an authoritarian state into a collaborative force for creativity. It reinvents the media language in connection with a fundamental chapter of recent history. Maria Alyokhina's handwritten texts merge with a flood of videos and photographs, infused with humor, punk, and noise.

Due to limited capacity, visits are only possible with a timed ticket.

Guided tours in the LSK Gallery have been extended until June 29, 2025.
