Velvet Terrorism: Pussy Riot's Russia
This exhibition explores the meaning of resistance in art through the lens of the feminist artistic collective, Pussy Riot. It showcases their transformative works that turn the repressive tools of an authoritarian state into a collaborative force for creativity. The display reinterprets media language against the backdrop of a fundamental chapter in recent history. Visitors will encounter handwritten texts by Maria Alyokhina, seamlessly merging with an array of videos and photographs, infused with humor, punk aesthetics, and noise.
Due to limited space, advance reservations are required with a time-slot ticket. Guided tours are available at the LSK Gallery, extended until June 29, 2025.
