Poetic and sensual, socially critical and playful, the installations of the American artist living in Berlin, Tracey Snelling, invite viewers into a world of artistic expression. Snelling began her career as a photographer and expanded her work to include collages and assemblages. Since 1998, she has been creating house sculptures--miniature buildings that transform through collaged photos, videos, and light effects into scenes depicting mysterious dramas. Her work reflects the hidden and repressed aspects of our society.
